SEBI has issued a Consultation Paper on Proposals for REITs and InvITs. The objective of this consultation paper is to seek comments / views / suggestions from the public on certain proposals related to REITs, SM REITs and InvITs. The proposals made in the consultation paper are based on the inputs received from various forums as listed below:
- Recommendations of working group for review of compliance requirements and ease of doing business for REITs and InvITs.
- Representations received from Indian REITs Association.
- Representations received from Bharat InvITs Associationand.
- Recommendations of Hybrid Securities Advisory Committee(“HySAC”).
The comments/ suggestions should be submitted latest by November 13, 2024 online.
