The Government of Tamil Nadu through gazette notification dated 13 August, 2021 has issued amendments to the Tamil Nadu Business Facilitation Rules, 2017. The amendment provides that The Renewal of Factories License, License for Manufacturer/ Repairer/Dealer of Weights or Measures and License for Contractor for Employing Contractual Workmen shall be issued automatically and instantly online on Single Window portal upon payment of renewal fee.
The timeline for other licenses dealt under the rules are also revised.
