Revised tenure for Indian Medicine Central Council

The Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy through notification dated 23rd April, 2021 has revised the tenure of Indian Medicine Central Council. Section 3A of the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970 requires the Central Council to be reconstituted within a period of two years from the date of supersession of the Council. The tenure of the Indian Medicine Central Council is hereby reduced to one year. This is issued in continuation of Indian Medicine Central Council (Amendment) Ordinance, 2021 issued on on 22nd April, 2021.
