The Government of West Bengal vide circular dated 31.12.2020 has issued revised minimum wages for unskilled employees in establishments in manufacturing sector in W.B.
The rate of daily wages applicable in areas under Zone A, which includes municipal corporations, township areas and areas under Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority, shall be Rs. 338.
The rate of wages applicable in areas under Zone B which includes areas not included in Zone A, shall be Rs. 296.
These rates shall be in force between January 1, 2021 to June 30, 2021.
