Government of Rajasthan vide an order dated 15th July, 2021 has revised the Dearness Allowance (DA) to the work-charged employees from 17% to 28% with effect from 1st July, 2021. The new order is applicable for the work-charged employees governed by the Rajasthan Public Works Department (B&R) including Gardens, Irrigation, Land Development (Programme), PHED, CAD Chambal Department, Kota, Ayurveda and Forest Department Work-charged Employees Service Rules, 1964 or under corresponding provisions of standing orders, where such employees are governed by specific standing orders and are drawing pay in the Level in Pay Matrix prescribed under the Rajasthan Work-charged Employees (Revised Pay) Rules, 2017.
The rate of DA for the period 1st January, 2021 to 30th June, 2021 shall remain at 17%. Cash payments shall be
admissible from 1st July, 2021 i.e. salary for the month of July payable on 1st August, 2021.
