The Department of Food and Public Distribution vide order dated 2nd November, 2022 has issued the Removal of Licensing Requirements, Stock Limits and Movement Restrictions on Specified Foodstuffs (third Amendment) Order, 2022.
The order provides that the Wholesale and Bulk Consumers (Big Chain Retailers Shops) stands exempted from the Stock Limit on Edible Oils and Oilseeds provided under Removal of Licensing Requirements, Stock Limits and Movement Restrictions on Specified Foodstuffs Order, 2016.
