The Registrar of Cooperative Societies of NCT Delhi vide notification dated 18.11.2020 has extended the tenure of existing committees of corporative societies. The amendment provides that cooperative societies, other than housing cooperative societies, whose membership exceeds One Thousand and where the election for constituting the new committees of the societies could not be conducted so far, the existing committees shall arrange election of the new committee along with their AGM to be held between 20/11/2020 and 31/12/2020.
The tenure of thee existing Committees of these societies would accordingly stand extended till the election of the new committees.
