The State Government of Rajasthan in its notification dated 26th November 2019 has issued the Rajasthan Shops and Commercial Establishment (Amendment) Rules, 2019.
Highlights of the amendment made under Rajasthan Shops and Commercial Establishments Rules, 1959:
Under Rule 3 which deals with application for registration and grant of registration certificate, the existing table specifying the maximum number of employees employed on any day and the amount of fees has been revised.
The validity of the certificate may be extended forever, after depositing the one-time fees.
A new format is also provided in which registration certificate is to be issued to shops and establishments.
