Public companies permitted to issue securities for listing on foreign stock exchanges

The Central Government vide notification dated 30 October, 2023 has commenced the operation of Companies (Amendment) Act, 2020, section 5 with effect from 30 October, 2023. The amendment provides that the public companies may issue such class of securities for the purposes of listing on permitted stock exchanges in permissible foreign jurisdictions or such other jurisdictions.
