Provisions of ESIC Act extended to Nagapattinam district in the State of Tamil Nadu

The Ministry of Labour and Employment vide notification dated 31st March 2022, has made following provisions of Employees State Insurance Act, 1948 applicable to all the areas of Nagapattinam district in the State of Tamil Nadu:

1. Sections 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43 and sections 45A to 45H Chapter IV: The chapter deals with the contribution made to the employee.
2. Sections 46 to 73 of Chapter V: The chapter deals with Benefits provides to the employees covered under the Act.
3. Chapter VI: which deals with Adjudication of Dispute and Claims.

These provisions shall commence w.e.f 1st April, 2022.
