In alignment with the directive from GNCTD dated April 2, 2024, emphasizing equal opportunities and non-discrimination for transgender individuals, an office order has been issued. This mandates the inclusion of transgender people in policies concerning recruitment, promotion, and other facets such as occupation and education. Furthermore, it calls for sensitization programs in compliance with the Transgender Act of 2019. Designating the Head of Office as the Nodal Officer and a Section Officer (Admn.) as the Complaint Officer, the order ensures prompt handling of grievances.
