Prime Minister Unveils Development Projects in Maharashtra

Prime Minister recently visited Yavatmal, Maharashtra, inaugurating a slew of development projects worth over 4,900 crores. Among these were initiatives in rail, road, and irrigation sectors, aimed at bolstering the region’s infrastructure. Additionally, he distributed funds under various schemes, including PM-KISAN and ‘Namo Shetkari MahaSanman Nidhi,’ totaling around 25,800 crores. This Notification was published on 28.02.2024.

Furthermore, the Prime Minister disbursed 825 crore to 5.5 lakh women Self Help Groups (SHGs) in Maharashtra and launched the distribution of one crore Ayushman cards across the state. He also introduced the Awaas Gharkul Yojana, targeting OBC category beneficiaries for the construction of 10 lakh houses. In his address, PM emphasized the government’s commitment to empowering the poor, youth, women, and farmers. He highlighted the completion of various projects as foundational steps for future progress, echoing his resolve to develop every corner of India. The Prime Minister stressed the significance of strengthening the rural economy for achieving a prosperous nation.

Reflecting on historical figures like Chhatrapati Shivaji and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, PM reiterated his dedication to their ideals and emphasized their influence on government policies. He also acknowledged the support of the people and emphasized the government’s focus on inclusivity, particularly for marginalized communities.
