The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has introduced a new online portal for hassle-free verification of credentials it issues. This initiative aims to simplify the process for both organizations and candidates. The notice of this launch was issued on April 24, 2024.
Credential Verification Online Portal (CVOP)
- The Credential Verification Online Portal (CVOP) is an online platform accessible through the NBEMS website.
- Organizations like employers, public authorities, and credential verification agencies can use the CVOP to submit verification requests for NBEMS-issued credentials.
- The portal also allows organizations to track the status of their submitted requests.
How Does it Work for Candidates?
- Candidates seeking verification of their NBEMS credentials will need to pay the required fee through the NBEMS Miscellaneous Fee Payment Portal before the organization can submit a verification request on their behalf.
- Candidates should share a copy of their fee payment receipt with the organization along with the specific credential they want verified.
Benefits of the CVOP
- Simplified and faster verification process.
- Improved transparency through online request tracking.
- Elimination of manual requests via email or post.
It is important to note that NBEMS will not process any verification requests submitted through any means other than the CVOP.
NBEMS has also issued detailed Guidelines For Submitting Credential Verification Requests Online.
For any inquiries, candidates and organizations can email NBEMS at verifications@natboard.edu.in.
