The Central Government on 5th April, 2022 has issued the Quality Control Orders for Acrylonitrile, Maleic Anhydride, Styere, Vinyl Benzene, polyethylene Material. The packages of these materials shall bear the Standard Mark under a licence from the Bureau of Indian Standards.
The Bureau of Indian Standards shall be the certifying and enforcing authority in respect of these Materials. Any person who contravenes the provisions of this order shall be punishable under the provisions of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016.
