The Central Government vide notification dated 26th July, 2022 has issued the Plant Quarantine (Regulation of Import into India) (Second Amendment) Order, 2022. It is clarified that Fresh fruits for consumption imported from Uzbekistan shall be Free from following Insects/ Mites:
a) Amphitetranychusviennensis (Hawthorn spider mite)
b) Eupoeciliaambiguella (European grape berry moth)
c) Grapholitafunebrana (Plum fruit moth)
d) Grapholitamolesta (Oriental fruit moth)
e) Leucopteramalifoliella (Pear leaf blister moth)
f) Lobesiabotrana (European grapevine moth)
g) Sphaerolecaniumprunastri (Globose scale)
