The Petroleum and explosive safety organization vide its circular dated 5th May 2022, developed a paperless application and approval module for granting permission in FORM LS-2A to transport compressed gas in ISO Tank container within Indian territory and in FORM LS-2B for import and transport of compressed gas in ISO Tank container.
Therefore all stakeholders are directed to submit their application in paperless form only. Digitally signed permission will be available in the online portfolio.
Further DGFT had notified earlier that the import of hydrofluorocarbons is permitted with an import authorization subject to the recommendation of ozone cell. Therefore all the stakeholders who proposes to import hydrofluorocarbons shall upload import authorization for each ISO tank container along with requisite documents in the online application portal for import of compressed gas in ISO tank container.
