The Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organization vide circular dated 06.09.2022 has permitted modification of existing mobile pressure vessels which have a valid license in Form L-2 and which has been fabricated within last 3 years. The modification shall be conducted to enhance carrying capacity from 18 Metric Ton to 21 Metric Ton.
The Certificate of Control, design appraisal certificate, design calculations and drawings duly vetted by the inspector shall be submitted for modification of existing mobile pressure vessels. The modification shall be carried out by the original fabricator.
