PCI Reopens Portal for Pharmacy Institutions to Submit SIFs for 2025-26 Academic Session

The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has announced a reopening of its portal to allow pharmacy institutions to submit their Student Information Forms (SIFs) and Pharmacy Education and Registration Committee (PERC) forms for the 2025-2026 academic session. This notice was published on February 13, 2025.

Technical Issues Prompt Reopening

The PCI cited technical issues, including payment processing problems and incomplete form details, as the reason many institutions were unable to submit their SIFs before the initial deadline. The Executive Committee (EC) of the PCI, in its meeting on February 12, 2025, decided to reopen the portal to address these issues.

New Deadline

The portal will be open from February 17, 2025, to February 19, 2025, giving institutions a final opportunity to submit their required forms.

The PCI has strongly advised institutions not to wait until the last minute to submit their applications, as server congestion could slow down the process. Submissions should be made as early as possible within the newly stipulated timeframe.

No Further Extensions

The PCI has made it clear that this is a final extension. Institutions that fail to submit their PERC and SIFs by the February 19 deadline will bear the consequences, as no further extensions will be granted. This emphasizes the importance of timely action by all institutions.
