PCI Re-iterates Postponement of Diploma in Pharmacy Exit Examination 2024

The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has re-iterated the postponement of the Diploma in Pharmacy Exit Examination (DPEE). The examination was originally scheduled for October 3rd, 4th, and 5th, 2024 and has been postponed to a later date. This notice was issued on September 27, 2024.

It may be recalled that the National  Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) had announced the decision to postpone the DPEE on September 20, 2024.

This decision was taken due to ongoing discussions within the Health Ministry regarding a proposed change in the scheme by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). Once the Ministry approves the changes, further steps will be taken.

Candidates who enrolled in the D.Pharm course in 2022-2023 and graduated in 2023-2024 will be registered as pharmacists until they successfully pass the Exit Examination and meet the other requirements outlined in the Pharmacy Act, 1948.

Applicants are advised to regularly check the NBEMS website for updates on the rescheduled DPE examination.
