PCI Extends Deadline for Pharmacy Institution Applications for 2025-26

The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) has announced an extension to the application deadline for pharmacy institutions seeking approval for the 2025-2026 academic session. This decision comes in response to numerous requests from stakeholders for more time to complete their submissions.

The original deadline of January 17, 2025, has been extended to January 31, 2025.

The PCI has emphasized that this is the final opportunity for institutions to submit their Student Information Form (SIF) for the 2025-2026 academic session. Institutions that fail to apply by the new deadline will not be considered for approval for the upcoming academic year.

Urgent Call to Submit Early

While the deadline has been extended, the PCI strongly urges institutions not to wait until the last minute to submit their applications. Potential server slowdowns due to high traffic closer to the deadline could hinder submissions. Institutions are advised to apply as early as possible within the stipulated timeframe.

The PCI has explicitly stated that no further extensions will be granted. The consequences of failing to apply by January 31, 2025, will rest solely with the institutions.

Pharmacy institutions planning to offer courses in the 2025-2026 academic year must submit their SIF applications by the final deadline of January 31, 2025. Early submission is highly recommended to avoid potential technical issues. Failure to meet this deadline will result in institutions not being considered for approval.
