On the 22nd of March, 2024, the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Karnataka issued a notification that is set to impact the people in the state. In an unprecedented move, the Governor of Karnataka declared the 26th of April, 2024, and the 7th of May, 2024, as Paid Holidays.
