p-Xylene (Quality Control) Order, 2022

The Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals on 23rd March, 2022 has issued the p-Xylene (Quality Control) Order, 2022. The Ministry of Chemical & Fertilizers on 13^th September, 2021 issued the p-Xylene (Quality Control) Order, 2021 to mandate that the p-Xylene shall bear the Standard Mark under a licence from the Bureau of Indian Standards as per Scheme-I of Schedule-II of the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment) Regulations, 2018.

The date for commencement of operation of p-Xylene (Quality Control) Order, 2021 is extended till 19 September, 2022.
