The Odisha State Pollution Control Board vide its notification dated 25th January 2021 has decided to implement pass book system for maintaining records which shall be mandatory for all E-waste generators/ collection centres/ dismantling/ recyclers.
The Passbook shall be issued by the state pollution control board along with authorization under e-waste rules with a specific condition that the segregated e-waste will be sold to the registered recycler only and the passbook will contain the type and details of the E-waste permitted for procurement.
Further at the time of renewal, the passbook shall be filled with details so that the compliance units can be checked by the inspector.
