Pursuant to the Government of India, Ministry of Law and Justice (Legal Department) Gazette Notification No. 50 of December 28, 2016, the reservation of the Persons with Disability (PWD) quota has been enhanced. The eligibility criteria for various disabilities are outlined below, as mentioned in the relevant Gazette notification enclosed herewith for reference (Annexure-SL): No. Group A (15%) Group-B (2%) Group-C Group-D (0.5%) Intellectual and physical disability Locomotor disability (LD) Blindness Deaf Disability Autism Cerebral Palsy (CP) Low vision (LV) Hard of Hearing Intellectual Disabilities (ID) Leprosy Cured Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD) Dwarfism Mental Illness Acid Attack Normal Group-E (0.5%) Multiple Disabilities Multiple Disabilities (MD) Apprenticeship Training Scheme Accordingly, the grade eligibility list of 140 designated trades (engineering and non-engineering under designated trade) for persons with benchmark disabilities will be circulated in due course as per RPWD.
