March 8th is celebrated as Women’s Day as the day working women all over the world got their rights. It is appropriate to recall the projects done by Tamil Nadu Government for the advancement of women’s society. Some of the schemes which helped women such as Free Bus Scheme for Women, Innovative Girl Project, Artist Women Entitlement Scheme. Recognizing the importance of legal aid for women, especially those from marginalized communities, the government offers legal assistance and support services to help women access justice and protect their rights. These initiatives reflect the Tamil Nadu government’s commitment to promoting gender equality, empowering women, and creating a more inclusive and equitable society.
