The Indian Nursing Council (INC) has announced that it is accepting online applications for the renewal of suitability for nursing educational institutions for the academic year 2025-2026. Institutions must apply online between February 3, 2025, and March 31, 2025. This notice was issued on February 3, 2025.
Application Process
Applications must be submitted online through the INC website under Institute Login S.No.1 URL.
Institutions that have applied for renewal in previous years should use the same login ID and password. Institutions applying for the first time must create a new user ID and password on the portal.
NRTS Enrollment Requirement
It may be recalled that as per Gazette Notification dated May 7, 2019, all nursing teaching faculty must be enrolled in the National Registered and Licensed Technicians System (NRTS). Institutions must enter the faculty’s National Unique Identification (NUID) number, obtained through NRTS, in the renewal application. If a NUID has not yet been allotted, the NRTS application number must be provided.

Institutions can check the status of their application and access their suitability renewal letter online by logging in with the same application ID and password used during submission.
