NSE extends the Liquidity Enhancement Scheme for 6 months.

The National Stock Exchange of India Limited on 14th May 2021 has extended the liquidity enhancement scheme for CDSO Futures for 6 months and shall be in operation till 30th November 2021.

SEBI in its earlier notification dated 26th March 2018, permitted introduction of Liquidity Enhancement Scheme (LES) in the commodity derivative contracts and the NSE introduced LES in CDSO Futures with effect from December 1, 2020 to encourage active participation in trading and market development for a period of 6 months.

Trading members / Clients of Trading members who are interested in providing continuous quotes as Market Makers shall be required to register with the Exchange and the exchange reserves the right to terminate the services of the MM in case of non-fulfillment of their quote obligations or for any other actions that are detrimental to the development of the market.
