NSE cautions Investors against Participation in Prohibited Schemes

The National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) has issued two press releases cautioning investors against participation in prohibited schemes. These press releases were issued on 5th April, 2023.

In one press release, the NSE points out that a person name Archana Patel associated with Piramid Solutions is providing guaranteed returns on investments in stock market. She is also offering to handle trading account of investors.

The other press release draws the attention of investors to Bharat Kumar associated with Trade with Trust is providing illegal trading platform with guaranteed returns.

The press releases caution investors not to subscribe to any such schemes or products since they are prohibited by law. Moreover, investors should not share their trading credentials with any person.

Participation in guaranteed returns schemes or trading on illegal trading platforms are neither approved nor endorsed by the NSE. Participation in these are at the investor’s own risk, cost and consequences. Investors participating in these schemes will not be entitled to the following recourses in case of any disputes:

  • Investor protection under the exchange’s jurisdiction
  • exchange dispute resolution mechanism
  • investor grievance redressal mechanism
