NPPA invites online bids for providing data and information on pharmaceutical products

National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA) has invited online bids from agencies/ companies, having the capacity and proven track record of providing data and information on pharmaceutical products. This information is sought to be generated throughout the country generally as well as categorised by segments, companies, states, regions and cities.

Scope of work

The agencies must provide data based on the following requirements:

  1. Base file with pivot
  2. Minimum Retail Price (MRP), Price to Retailer (PTR), Price to Stocklist (PTS) Trend Report
  3. Non- Scheduled Price Violation Report and
  4. Scheduled Price Violation Report

Eligibility Criteria

  1. The bidder must be a firm/ company/ partnership/ proprietorship firm registered in India and having an office in NCR of Delhi.
  2. It should have completed at least 5 years in the business of providing similar services on 31st March 2020.
  3. It should have a turnover of Rs. 2 crore in each of the last three financial years and should have not incurred any loss in any of those three financial years.
  4. The bidder should be able to fulfil the services of the scope of work.

Bid Evaluation Process

The bids will be evaluated in two categories:

  • Technical Bids:

These will carry 70% weightage out of 100 marks. The break-up of the evaluation is as follows:

  1. The 4 categories of requirements in the scope of work will carry 50 marks
  2. Data on specific need basis or periodic data on availability and price will carry 15 marks
  3. Data on availability, on specific formulation(s) and/ or therapeutic group(s) will account for 15 marks and
  4. Any additional value-added data that can be submitted will account for 20 marks
  • Financial Bids

These will carry 30% weightage out of 100 marks.

To be technically qualified, the technical score should be at least 80. Only after this will the financial bids of the bidder be considered.

However, the bids will not be considered if the original Bank Guarantee towards Bid Security (of Rs.2 Lakh) has not reached the Director, Monitoring & Enforcement Division, National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), YMCA Cultural Centre Building, 1, Jaisingh Road, New Delhi – 110 001 well before 21st December 2020.

Submission Details

Agencies and companies that fulfil the eligibility criteria shall furnish their bids along with necessary documents at the CPPP site on or before 18th December 2020 by 4 pm.

All bids are to be submitted online and no manual bids or bids via e-mail or fax will be accepted.
