The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a notice requesting all State Medical Commissions to review the list of State Holidays from October 2023 to December 2023. This notice dated 27th October, 2023 was published on 3rd November, 2023.
As per the notice, all State Medical Commissions have been informed about a comprehensive list of State Holidays from October 2023 to December 2023 for their respective States and Union Territories (UTs). This list, downloaded from the websites of the concerned authorities.
The respective State Medical Commissions and Departments of Medical Education (DME) are requested to carefully review the provided holiday list. If there are any discrepancies or variations in the State holidays being observed by the Medical Colleges and Institutions within their jurisdiction, they are urged to promptly notify the National Medical Commission (NMC).
The NMC can be reached via email at assessment@nmc.org.in. The deadline for reporting any discrepancies or variations is set for the 7th November, 2023.
In the event that no response is received by the stipulated deadline, it will be assumed that the list provided in the notice is accurate and in order.
