NMC requests Bank Guarantees for Academic Year 2024-25 Medical College Applications

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a public notice regarding the submission of necessary Bank Guarantees (BGs) by medical colleges. This notice was issued on 12th October, 2023.

This requirement applies to colleges who had previously applied for the establishment and expansion of Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) courses in Medical Colleges during the Academic Year 2024-25.

All educational institutions, hereinafter referred to as “Colleges,” who have successfully submitted their applications on the NMC Portal for purposes such as the establishment of new Medical Colleges, increase of MBBS seats, commencement of PG Courses, or expansion of PG seats for the Academic Year 2024-25, are urged to adhere to this important announcement.

As per the notice, it is mandatory for all concerned applicants to submit the required Bank Guarantees (BGs) by no later than October 20, 2023.

Failure to comply with this deadline will result in the rejection of the respective application. In such cases, the applications will not be entertained under any circumstances.
