The National Medical Commission vide public notice dated 18.10.2022 has clarified that only the medical colleges that were denied recognition due to legal issues are prohibited from admitting a new batch for MBBS for academic year 2022-2023. The colleges whose recognition are due are permitted to admit same number of seats allotted for the academic year 2021-2022.
