The National Medical Commission (NMC) has launched an E-Book titled ‘Professional Conduct Review – Extracting Lessons from Case Archives’. The NMC has issued a press release on this launch on 5th October, 2023.
This e-book is launched by the Ethics and Medical Registration Board (EMRB) of the NMC. The book consists of series of case studies put forth by experienced medical practitioners in their respective fields of expertise. They draw from real-life antecedents from cases that have come before the Board and also recount professional errors and their consequences.
The aim of the book is to increase awareness, reduce professional errors and protect patients from possible ethical lapses.
