The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued another notice extending the last date for uploading the details of the students enrolled for the 1st year MBBS degree for the academic year 2022-2023. The latest extended deadline is now fixed as 16th January, 2023.
It may be recalled that the NMC has originally, by its notification dated 22nd December, 2022, directed all medical colleges to fill up online details of students enrolled for the 1st year MBBS degree for 2022-23. The deadline for completion of this data upload had been fixed as 31st December, 2022.
However, the NMC had noticed that the complete data had not been uploaded by the cut-off date by the medical colleges. As a result, NMC was facing difficulties in monitoring the online data of the students. Hence the NMC by a notification dated 3rd January, 2023 had extended the deadline till 10th January, 2023.
However, despite this extension the it was observed that medical colleges have not yet uploaded the data. Hence, the NMC has once again extended the last date for uploading this data to 16th January, 2023.
In case the data is not uploaded by 16th January, 2023 the concerned medical colleges will be liable for any litigation/ complications that may consequently arise.
