The Ministry of Child and Development on August 29th 2024 in a significant move towards creating safer workplaces for women has unveiled the SHe-Box portal. This centralized platform aims to address and manage complaints of sexual harassment at workplaces across India. The Ministry also introduced the newly designed website.
Objective: The SHe-Box is designed to support the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. This law aims to ensure a safe and respectful work environment for women across all sectors, including both organized and unorganized sectors, as well as domestic workers.
