The Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, has unveiled the updated Inspector-cum-Facilitator (ICF) Manual on August 14, 2024. This manual, a modernized version of the 1968 Inspector Manual, reflects extensive consultations and contributions from field offices and stakeholders. This notification was published on August 16, 2024.
The ICF Manual, comprising 16 chapters, covers a broad spectrum of duties, from regulatory oversight to compliance support, and includes 10 case studies offering practical insights. Available for download on the EPFO website under the ‘Downloads>>Acts & Manuals’ section, the manual should be distributed to all officers up to the EO/AO level.
Training modules and workshops are being organized for effective dissemination. Printed samples will be sent to Zonal Offices, with further copies to be printed as needed. Feedback for future updates is encouraged.
