The Biogas Development and Training Centre, under the aegis of the Center for Rural Development and Technology at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, is set to organize a comprehensive National Training Programme on Biogas Production, Power Generation, and Compressed Biogas Technology. The event, scheduled for January 17-19, 2024, is sponsored by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India.
Aim of the Programme: The primary objective of this training programme is to equip government functionaries, budding entrepreneurs, supervisors, and consultants with in-depth knowledge of various aspects of biogas technology. Topics covered will include the significance of biogas as a fuel, the current status of biogas programs, and details about biogas up-gradation, bottling, power generation, and more. The initiative also targets field supervisory functionaries involved in the implementation of biogas programs across India.
How to Apply: Prospective participants can register by filling out the registration form and sending the scanned copy of the form along with the e-receipt to bdtciitd@gmail.com. Alternatively, registration can be completed through the Google Doc form available here. The deadline for registration is January 9, 2024. Preference will be given to those already associated with and possessing field experience in biogas technologies.

Accommodation: Limited accommodation will be available in IIT Delhi hostels on a first-come, first-serve basis.
