The Medical Assessment and Rating Board (MARB) of the National Medical Commission (NMC) has extended the deadline for submitting applications for new postgraduate (PG) medical courses. This includes applications for starting new PG courses in established medical institutions, establishing new standalone PG institutes, and increasing seats in existing PG courses. This public notice was issued on October 16, 2024.
Original Deadline and Extension
The NMC had fixed the initial deadline for submissions as October 17, 2024 by its notice dated September 18, 2024. However, the MARB has now extended this deadline to November 8, 2024.
The extended deadline provides additional time for medical institutions to prepare and submit their applications. The other terms and conditions mentioned in the previous public notice of September 18, 2024, remain unchanged.
Application Process
Interested medical institutions can submit their applications through the designated NMC web portal. Applicants shall complete the online application form using the provided guiding document. Applicants shall pay the requisite fee online during the application process.
