The amendment expands the eligibility for postgraduate student guidance. Instead of only “Associate Professor or Professor,” “Assistant Professor or Associate Professor or Professor” will now be eligible.
Student-Guide Ratio:
A new regulation has been added, stating that the student-guide ratio will be 1:1 if the guide is of the Assistant Professor cadre, ensuring adequate supervision.

The number of postgraduate seats has been adjusted. Where it previously stated “seven seats” it has been changed to “six seats”.
