The Madhya Pradesh(MP) State Government has amended the Madhya Pradesh Forest Produce (Regulation of Trade) Wood Rules, 1973. The amendment has revised the application fee for renewal of license for Aramil to twenty five hundred rupees. The license shall be renewed for five calendar years.
The period during which the application for renewal of the license shall be considered pending, it shall be deemed that such license had been renewed under the Act and the license holder was operating the Aramil or Ara pit accordingly.
