The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways vide its notification dated 27th December 2020 has decided to further extend the validity of fitness, permit (all types), driving license, registration or any other concerned document whose extension of validity could not or not likely to be granted due to lockdown and which had expired since 1st February 2020 and would expire by 31st December 2020 and the same shall be treated as valid till 31st March 2021.
Therefore the enforcement authority is advised to treat such documents as valid till 31st March 2021 and the state and union territory are requested to implement this advisory.
