MoLE extends the public utility service status of industrial establishments producing Nuclear Fuel.

The Ministry of Labour and Employment vide its notification dated 12th October 2020 has extended the public utility service status under item 28 of the First Schedule to the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 for industrial establishments manufacturing or producing Nuclear Fuel & components, Heavy Water & Allied Chemicals and Atomic energy which was previously declared as public utility service for a period of six months from 24th April, 2020.

However, the Central Government has now extended the public utility service status to the said industrial establishments for a further period of six months with effect from the 24th October 2020.
