MoLE extends the public utility service status of industrial establishments producing Nuclear Fuel.

The Ministry of Labour and Employment vide its notification dated 12^th October 2020 has extended the public utility service status under item 28 of the First Schedule to the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 for industrial establishments manufacturing or producing Nuclear Fuel & components, Heavy Water & Allied Chemicals and Atomic energy which was previously declared as public utility service for a period of six months from 24^th April, 2020.

However, the Central Government has now extended the public utility service status to the said industrial establishments for a further period of six months with effect from the 24th October 2020.
