MoEF & CC provides timeline for project proponents to reply to the Essential Details Sought by the Impact Assessment Division

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change through circular dated 15th March, 2021 has streamlined the processes of granting Environmental Clearances with regard to Essential Details Sought. Considering that many project proponents do not reply/delay the reply to the Essential Details Sought (EDS) by the Impact Assessment Division, it has now been decided that in case the reply to EDS is not received on PARIVESH within 30 days, the proposal will be excluded from the pendency list shown on PARIVESH.

However, the project proponent can relist the proposal through their respective login provisions, as and when they want to submit the EDS reply.
