Ministry of Home Affairs prohibits the supply of non-essential items by e-commerce companies during lockdown

The Ministry of Home Affairs in its notification dated 19th April 2020 has amended its earlier Nationwide Lockdown Order in which the Centre had allowed delivery of essential goods, including food, pharmaceuticals, and medical equipment through e-commerce platforms.

However, through this notification, the Supply of non-essential goods by e-commerce companies shall remain prohibited during extended lockdown period in order to fight COVID-19.
