The Ministry of Heavy Industry vide its notification dated 18th October 2021, has extended the date for implementing electrical equipment quality control order 2020 to 11th November 2022.
As per the earlier order, Every Electrical Equipment like Low – Voltage switchgear and controlgear: Circuit – Breakers, Low – Voltage switchgear and controlgea: a.c. semiconductor motor controllers and contactors for non – Motor loads etc shall conform to the corresponding Indian standards specified with effect from One year from the date of publication of this order in the Official Gazette of India.
However, the date of enforcement of the Order is hereby extended for one year i.e. 11th November 2022.
