The Union Minister of Heavy Industries has unveiled the groundbreaking “Dugdh Sanakalan Sathi Mobile App” in Mussorie, Uttarakhand on 16th June, 2023. A press release was issued on the launch by the Ministry of Heavy Industries on the same day.

Developed by Rajasthan Electronics & Instruments Limited (REIL) this innovative application aims to address key challenges in the milk collection process and make a lasting impact on the Indian dairy industry.

The “Dugdh Sanakalan Sathi Mobile App” is set to improve the quality of milk, foster transparency among stakeholders, and streamline operations at the grassroots village level, including Milk Cooperative Societies.

Recognizing the critical need for advancements in the dairy industry, REIL has developed a comprehensive cloud-based solution that leverages the latest state-of-the-art platform. This initiative aligns with the Government of India’s commitment to digitizing processes and facilitating direct beneficiary transfers of government subsidies to milk producers.

The Secretary of the Ministry of Heavy Industries on the occasion of the launch, emphasized that the app will boost dairy development in the country, instilling confidence and enthusiasm among milk producers. Furthermore, he highlighted that the mobile app will strengthen transparency in the dairy business.

The ‘Dugdh Sanakalan Sathi Mobile App’ will bring significant benefits to all stakeholders involved in the milk collection process. Key features and benefits of the app include increased transparency among stakeholders, online monitoring of daily milk poured at Milk Cooperative Societies, real-time milk price updates from the cloud server, direct beneficiary transfers of milk payments and government subsidies to milk producers’ bank accounts, push notifications for milk collection, and multilingual support for English, Hindi, Punjabi, Telugu, and more.
