The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a circular dated 11.05.2020 to direct states to ensure smooth functioning of private clinics and nursing homes. It has been reported that in many areas the private clinics and nursing homes are not allowed to function. The Central Government considers their roles to be crucial in reducing the burden of hospitals which is the priority in time of pandemic outbreak. Thus all States and UTs are directed to allow them to function without hindrances.
