Medical Colleges Required to Submit Annual Declarations on NMC Portal by November 15th

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a public notice reminding all medical colleges with valid permission for MBBS admissions to submit their annual declarations on the NMC portal. This is mandatory for the renewal of permission for undergraduate MBBS seats for the academic year 2025-26. This notice was published on November 5, 2024.

All medical colleges with a valid Letter of Permission (LoP) for MBBS admissions are mandatorily required to submit the declaration. Colleges must complete the Annual Declaration Form on the NMC portal. This includes:

  • Uploading Letter of Recognition/Continuation of Recognition granted by MCI/NMC.
  • Uploading last renewal letter issued for the 2024-25 academic year.
  • Information on the competent authority for the college.
  • Details of examination videography and FORM C (new requirement).

The deadline for submitting this data is November 15, 2024.

How to Submit?

Colleges must register their AEBAS with the NMC to access the portal.

Usernames and passwords have already been provided to nodal officers of each college. A user manual is available on the portal for guidance.

Data submitted must be accurate and consistent across all NMC boards. Submitted data cannot be edited after application submission. Submitted data may be subject to public disclosure by the NMC.

The requisite fee (Rs. 3,54,000 including GST) must be paid online through the portal’s payment gateway.
