The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued a directive requiring all medical colleges and institutions to update their faculty details on their respective websites. This directive was issued by way of a public notice dated July 23, 2024.
Comprehensive Faculty Listing
Each department must have a separate list of faculty members. This list shall include the medical superintendent, principal, or dean if they form a part of these departments.
Detailed Faculty Information
The list should include faculty names, recent photographs, qualifications, designations, and registration numbers with the respective State Medical Council.
AEBAS Integration
All faculty members listed on the website must also be registered in the college’s AEBAS system.
Regular Updates
The faculty must be uploaded on the website of the of the medical college or institutions latest by July 31, 2024.
Furthermore, for subsequent months, the faculty lists must be updated monthly by the last day of each month.
Failure to comply with these guidelines shall result in disciplinary action against the concerned medical institutions.
