Maharashtra PCB to develop a ‘Laboratory Information Management System

The Maharashtra Pollution Control Board through Circular dated 30.07.2021 has published the new initiative to develop a ‘Laboratory Information Management System’. The field officers of the Board send the samples collected during inspections in establishments to central/regional laboratories for analysis. The new system provides an end-to-end solution and encryption for sample processing to make it easier for authorities to take appropriate action based on sample analysis reports. The features of the new system include:

1. Barcode generation and Sample registration.
